Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2017
Came across this deal by accident yesterday
Went to get the deal on the 3GB plan and a 25% off was on the purchase screen after I selected the plan
Maybe an unofficial deal going!
Also, bundle it with an existing Optus mobile and get $10 off a month. Confirmed this with the Rep over the phone
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2017, $25/Month with 3GB Data (24 Month Contract) @ Optus

What is "25% off monthly access fee"?
To make it simple, Galaxy Tab 8
$20 Plan + $5 Table
Which part do they take 25% off?if thats how it is written, then its 25% off 20 + $5 Tablet repayment.
so $20/m including repayments.
Price in title?
Min. Total Cost is $600 over 24 months.
that is before discount
this is what the op posted
https://prnt.sc/lc0fxo@D34thBringer: "access fee" is defined as "plan fee" by optus - repayment of device is not "access fee"
Is this the same tablet?
https://www.catch.com.au/product/samsung-galaxy-tab-a-8-lte-…From what I can see, the 25% off only applies to the $60/month 200GB plan. Once you click through it shows that the access fee is $80/month and the 25% off provides a $20/month discount. None of the other plans have a value attached to the 25% off field.
agreed
So is this $15 a month if you already have an existing mobile with Optus?
Yes, I have confirmed it online with Optus.
This is regular price for months already. If 25% off applied to this package, you should only pay about $10.
This has changed to $17/mth now and would go for it if $10off (when bundled with existing plan) applies. Previous years I saw this for $15/mth then upped to $16/mth. My $16/mth is about to expire so I'll try next week.
I've tried with 3 different people and they can't apply the $10 off a month, might go into store and have a crack. They said it's because the price has come down from $25 to $17 so the discount isn't applicable anymore to new tablets.
Let us know if you have any luck next week.I was told it is only applicable for phone plans only for 2nd phone of a new (or recontracting) services within a month of the 1st one.
So the plan came to $18.75? Says off the monthly access fee now I reread, so $20 I assume. Ive been thinking of jumping on the new galaxy tablet for $60 with 200gb and the free headphones. $50 off when combined with a current Optus plan is a great deal.
But if you're after a budget tablet this this is OK.
