                • @McMaferMur: You can't change the game, a word goes after the last one not before. You think I didn't think of Basic, but it doesn't work like that, ya'll F***** the game up! lol

  • Thanks OP! The 990 price is decent enough for me to grab one.

  • Nice. Any good deals for ssd including heatsink?

    • Nothing from this store. You can always fit your own heatsink.

  • Silly question, but can you 'shuck' these (the 4TB) and connect to a SATA3 connector in a laptop?

  • Nice! The Samsung 870 SATA would be suitable for putting into an Xbox one x, right?

    • just as regular expandable storage yes. But not so much as their faster speed native drive expansion

      • I read your comment three times confused. I assume you thought I was talking about the series x? Thanks

        • Lol i got equally confused since your comment. Thanks microsoft!

And yes since its sata interface you can replace internal drive with it.

          Good luck!

          • @kaleidoscope: Cool thanks thought so but wasnt sure. Very stupid naming convention from Xbox lol!

If you ask nicely someone may come around and cook you dinner too

      • if you pay nicely someone may come around and cook you dessert too and other things that are not relevant with storage topic

        • Come to my house and you'll get something better than dessert 😉

The portable SSDs had heaps of stock while the last 2 SSDs in my list had just over 10 available.

      • thanks , they relisted one of the portable 4Tbs so managed to nab that one before it sold out again

  • missed it

  • +1

wow! This is a great price for Samsung T5 EVO 4TB. I was on lookout for sub $300.
    I missed out.

    • Me too, missed this one.

  • 500gb nvme restocked in their store

Planning to use with an enclosure, any reccomendatioms?

  • +2

    still Awaiting postage

  • +1

The original eBay seller has removed all items on their eBay store.
Was it price error ? Anyone received it from this eBay seller ?

    • It wasn't a price error and it was only posted a couple of days ago. Not everything is the exclusive Sydney Amazon next day delivery.

      • +1

Hi OP any idea why their website and ebay store has been wiped out? It seems something is going on.

        • Like OP mentioned, they may take a few days to respond (sellers usually have up to a week regarding postage notifications on ebay). I've purchased a 4TB drive myself from the seller so in the same boat

i recommend if you're concerned, you can message the seller directly to see if you get a response from them or an update.

If there are issues, you can raise a case with ebay, but generally have to wait until the expected day of delivery lapse, as part of their buyer protection if something does go wrong.

          • +1

@Erisato: Just received an ebay message from them - can't fulfill order due to stock issues. Hopefully you'll have better luck!

            • @yjs: thanks for the update , fingers crossed here

            • @yjs: hopefully you got your refund back. the seller advised the same with mine and said they'd refund immediately ( that refund hasn't happened )

          More AZAU clearances

Per the OP. If you've been following the AZAU deals (Oz.squares eBay included) you'll see that their clearing out heaps of their stock. I communicated with them prior to this deal and we decided Samsung SSDs were the best bet compared to WD and some lesser known brands.

It's worth mentioning they're pretty good at being slow to update delivery. Often it's marked as sent the day you receive it.

          • @Clear:

I communicated with them prior to this deal and we decided Samsung SSDs were the best bet compared to WD and some lesser known brands.

Are you able to find out what's going on?

    • +2

I bought the 4TB, still says 'paid' with no updates.

      • +1

I see you got the update you didn't want!
        What time did you buy?

      • +1

Same here too, still in paid status

  • +1

update from my end, the seller's provided a cancellation /refund to my order:

We apologize for any inconvenience caused, but we regret to inform you that we cannot fulfill your original order due to a stock discrepancy. In this case, we will provide you with a full refund and not hold any payments for this order.

hope the rest of the Ozbargainers have better luck with theirs

    • +1

Damn, sorry to hear. Mine still hasn't been sent out so it seems like I'll go the same way.

      • +1

hope you get yours, but the seller seems problematic even with refunds checking the sellers feedback recently on the same item

        • +1

Chances are grim i'll get it. There hasn't even been an update that it's been dispatched. So I assume the dream is over. Hopefully the refund won't take too much effort….

  • +1

    Has anyone actually received a T5 4TB?

  • +1

I have messaged them as I have not heard back of any shipping.
2 message but still no answer…
    I ordered the 2TB T5

    • +1

Same here, sent a message last week and still haven’t heard back

Meant to arrive by 5 March which is tomorrow. Time to open up an eBay case and will leave a negative review for poor communication by seller

    • +1

      Same - ordered a 2TB and nada

    • +1

Same here, orered 2TB and radio silence.

  • +1

Anyone had anything yet? My drive is still showing as paid but no notice of dispatch

    • Same boat as everyone else here. Hope we get some answers soon.

  • +1

Many seem to be stuck in the same situation here, so I'll offer some feedback for my experience so far.

For my item, also a 4TB drive, the seller sent me a message and advised they were "unable to fulfill my order and would provide a full refund" last Friday afternoon.
There's been no response from the seller since then, and no refunds to speak of (with the item still sitting in "PAID" status)

I can now only raise an INR "item not received" case tomorrow (when the expected delivery date lapses) then have to wait another 3 days before ebay can step in to assist with the disputed refund (if the seller still fails to respond to the INR).

    Definitely a terrible experience.

  • +1

FYI - you can leave negative reviews for the seller already. Most of us have purchased this on the same day, so technically you can initiate eBay to step in from 6 March onwards

  • +1

Might be irrelevant but I ordered a T5 Evo 4TB shortly after this post went up but had buyer remorse and decided to cancel the order shortly after. The seller was quick to issue a refund in an hour or two after I requested the cancellation.

That was all before this fiasco kicked in.

  • +2

Sorry guys we've all been shafted. Cancel your orders and get a refund. As per ASIC, AZAU have gone into liquidation. Their ecommerce team in Malaysia were unaware and can't get hold of management here.

As BG mentioned above you can initiate eBay to step in if necessary.

  • My cancellation was declined? What the…

    • The seller has refused to cancel this order. WT………

      • I have no clue what happened. It could've been because of the reasoning I put, but still, a bunch of people asking for cancellations around the same time should raise some red flags.

        • Was this through you putting a request for eBay to step in?

          • @BargainsGrabber: Not too sure, never really had this issue on eBay before.

I clicked "Ask to cancel order" and the reasoning I put, like a dummy, was "item wouldn't arrive on time" or something like that.

Because it's slated to be delivered on March 10th at the latest (even though it hasn't been shipped yet and I live in WA), I think eBay just auto cancelled my request. Now I'm locked out of the cancellation process.

After the 10th I'll just put use the "I didn't receive it" option or try something else and report back.

          • @BargainsGrabber: how to ? there no action for ebay step in.

            • @kenmizuki: Not sure. I put mine as I still want to receive the item, and seller has until 11 March to respond

  • +1

My refund was automatically issued from eBay since eBay didn’t receive valid proof of delivery from the seller

    • Nice! I'm just about to send in my request now.

      • +1

        Good luck!

        • +1

Just got refunded, not even an hour after asking eBay to step in. Cheers for the tip!
