Rep, can you please confirm: does this transmit AptX Low Latency to TWO headphones at the same time?

It supports AptX Low Latency in transmitter mode (AptX Low Latency), and it can transmit to two headphones at the same time in transmitter mode (Dual Link). However the description does not say whether it can do BOTH at the same time (ie. Dual Link AptX Low Latency).

    Cheers.

    • Yes, it can support APTX low latency transmit to two headphones at the same time.

    Username doesn't match title. Hm

    • Thanks for reminding me, This error has been corrected.

  • so to confirm i can plug this into my pc (windows 7 and bluetooth headphones dont like each other)
and then connect bluetooth headset/speaker and use it normally ?

Yes, plug this bluetooth item to your PC and connect it to your bluetooth speaker/headset via bluetooth successfully.

  • A mate bought this about a month ago, and couldn't ever get a decent connection to his headphones (always had static / a background hiss), regardless of connecting it to his home theatre or phone etc.

He returned it and got a TaoTronics unit instead - has no issues, and is a much better build quality:

    • I have hiss with TaoTronics that is obvious when there is quietness or very low volume.

  • What is the max amount of headphones/devices that can be connected to this ?

    • As a transmitter, it can connect to two headphone; as a receiver, it can pair two phone bluetooth one by one.

  • I wonder if anyone can help.

I have a pair of Bose Soundsport Free, and recently bought a cheapo USB Bluetooth transmitter from ebay for about 6 dollars. I got a lot of cut outs when I'm in the kitchen, which is about 3 meters from the PC separated by a wall and a fridge in the way.

I wonder if it is because of the cheapie (says Bluetooth 4.0 CSR V4.0). I would hate to know it is the Bose's fault (highly doubt and fingers crossed). So I am considering this deal. The PC is pretty much dead centre in the house too.

    TIA.

    • I would assume it's the ebay receiver with my logic. The $6 transmitter probably has terrible power and parts and cannot receive the signal well from your pc/power the headphones properly. Does your pc have a good bluetooth transmitter? If yes than it's most likely the ebay product.

      • Thanks for the reply, mate.

Yeah I would like to think it is the USB transmitter. Guess it is the case of I get what I paid for.

I'll look for something similar to this.
