NO. Have tested and doesn't work.

Does it work on other items?
YES. I have just tested on an item for $3.75 in Australia and was able to knock off $0.38 using the promo code.

Option 1:

Find what you want on eBay.com.au then change the URL at the start to eBay.com for easy purchasing.

If above doesn't work then try this.

Option 2:

Considering what happened in the last deal, the country switch doesn't seem to work anymore, so you will most likely have to make a new account at eBay US to take advantage of this offer.

Add random US address and use AU mobile to confirm account via SMS then add AU address as preferred/Primary Delivery Addresss .

      I made 3 accounts a few deals ago, created new real-sounding names, gmail accounts (they insta-banned temp mails like getnada/guerrilla mail, and making new accounts with new names makes it harder for them to detect duplicates), and addresses (used some variation of some college dorms).

      Been about 6 months, used every now and then with eBay US, no sign of ban yet. Just gotta go through the tedium once.

    For option one, do you change the URL after you add the item(s) to the cart or before?

    Edit: Nvm. It doesn't work for me as it I am logged out of my account as soon as I change the URL before or after.

        It has something to do with what you have added in your cart - haven't quite figured it out yet. When I remove a particular item, it works. Continuing to investigate…

        UPDATE: Seems to be a maximum of 5 items in your cart. When I get to 6, I get the error message..

    Noob question - I have created a new eBay USA account and was able to add the item to cart and got the discount code working. If I use my Australian PayPal account will I be charged any international transaction or conversion fees by PayPal as I am using it on USA eBay account?

      If you're buying from an Aussie seller in AUD, I think you don't get charged conversion fee or Import GST 10%, though I could be wrong.

      Would be simpler if we had a global currency to deal in and avoid currency conversion fees and tax. And open borders no need for passports or visas.

    Ebay is such a piece of trash.

    My main account with a USA address can't use this thing, even if I use a VPN, it just says code can't be applied.

    I had to make an alternate account using my US address and some bollocks phone number, I was then able to use the code.

    I'm shipping TO A US ADDRESS, it's not like others here who are trying to bypass things (which I condone, screw you ebay).

    Anyway, saved $30 USD, great.
