Yeah Thats great deal who are not after International calls and would be an awesome deal for many others if they have offered Unlimited International calls too
Can't data pool the data together and no unlimited international calls to 35 different countries. If you don't need those two perk then Telstra is the better deal

They should, but people have reported otherwise.
There is some leeway for signing up new plans, you can practically barter with them.Have a look at your contract, my $35 one I signed up for a few weeks ago states you can as long as you are upgrading to a more expensive plan.
Here's the quoted text from the current offers. From how I read it, you can change to a higher one but a fee may apply.
You can change your plan during your contract term to another My Promo Plus 12M SIM plan provided you move to a plan with a higher monthly access fee.
You cannot change your plan during the contract term to a plan with the same or lower monthly access fee.
If you change your plan during your contract term a fee may apply.
Better deal than my current offer, best thing is they allow this deal for existing contracting customers
