Jetstar Return For Free! (edit: removed tomorrow reference for public sale as "tomorrow" is now today)

For your return flight, search for flights between 11 February to 3 April (only NZ routes available on these dates), 23 April to 3 July and 23 July to 27 September 2019. (Please check below as exact travel periods differ between destinations).

Edit: to find the free flights you seem to have to click the flight route you want from the sale page, then go right through to specific dates (the free flights do not show on the month summary but they are there if you click through)

  Scored return flights Melb to Uluru in late May/early June for 3 people for $600 including baggage and seat selection. Pretty good considering I was looking at paying $1150 before baggage and seat selection a few days ago.

  I managed to score a free return flight from DPS to SYD.

  I am not a member of Club Jetstar and I used POLI to pay for the tickets.

  Including luggage, food and drinks brought the total cost to $392 for a return ticket to DPS from SYD.

  Most cheap flights are in the morning flying off 7am. Is there a way to scale down the search to normal hour ones?

    Your best bet to get good flight times for a reasonable price on JetStar is to use their price beat guarantee. Well, for international that is: they match any flight on the same day.

    So when AirAsia has seats on special but only at a horrible time I'll get JetStar to beat it by 10% and select the most convenient time. Love it :-)

  Me and my partner just nabbed $42.03 return flights to Ho Chi Minh City using this + a $200 voucher for our flight being canceled/delayed a few months ago, certainly no complaints here.

    Funny comparison is that if one of you pays for 3kg extra of carry on, that's more than the cost of both of your +9 hour return flights.

      Couldn't bring myself to add any luggage purely for this reason, a 15kg bag each way for one person was more than the total we paid for both tickets, even choosing seats for each connecting flight probably would have exceeded it.

  Booked Sydney > Phuket return for $229 each for me and my partner.

  Was getting the "unknown error occurred" when trying to use AfterPay, just put it through with POLi to secure the price.

  Jetstar has advertised free return airfares for BNE to DPS for the following periods:

  19 May 19 to 26 June 19
  24 July 19 to 20 September 19

  The free return airfares are very limited.

  It would seem that you can access it without being a Club Member. This is how I did it.

  In Chrome (may work in other browsers).
  Click the deal link (open in a new window). The deal search will be grayed out.
  Click the main page and search for a flight, get to the bundles page.
  Tab back to the OzBargain page and open the deal link again.

  Deal search is no longer grayed out. Return flights for $0 will display as blank spaces in the calendar, select a blank space and make your booking.

  Got Phuket return for $279 and Sunshine Coast for $99. Honolulu sold out really quick but there was still heaps of others available last night.
