      Not cool, Kmart, not cool.

Got a Kmart pedestal fan for $15 2 years ago and it still works good now.
    But need a remote one.
Last year Aldi releases a nice-looking remote-controlled pedestal fans but soon out of stock :(

Searched just now and it'll be back again https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/special-buys-wed-24-…

  • $12.90 for white version

Yeah well with all this “it’s ok to be white” stuff I feel obliged to buy the black one now to prove I’m not racist.

      • +13

Then your part of the problem. A truely non racist person wouldnt see it as an issue either way and wouldnt feel pressure to not look racist

So I have to buy both?

          • @deelaroo: Why buy both? Just buy one, save $10 for a meal

if darth vader had a pedestal fan, it would be this.

I prefer the click brand so that I can join the c to the l with a sharpie

  • For those who find that $15 Pedestal Fan gives no wind more than 1m. Give a try to Adesso high-velocity fan.I bought it yesterday and it's been great so far. Much more wind.

      • mmmmmmm High Velocity lol

      • True. Just a reference if you can't stand the wind of $15 fan. I just throw one for this.

    • Hey mate! Do you need any tools to set the fan up? Looking to get one.

      • Just a Phillips screwdriver and you are good

      • I got one last week, yep Phillips head screw driver, only tool needed.
Be aware the plastic nut that screws on to hold fan blades goes on anticlockwise -In 36C heat it took me many attempts to work that out.

This or the Aldi one for $40 with a remote next week?!

  • Is the link meant to go anywhere, because I can't find the fan anywhere on the website.

  • Went to Bunnings last night and they had white 40cm fans for $12. Pretty typical?

    • Yup. Someone said earlier the the white version was about that price
