These have cheap Chinese movements in them
You can get a much cheaper citizen quartz watch from a Chinese or US website.I'm sure I missed some points just trying to save them some time!
JDRT are a Sydney alternative if you live a bit further north and like supporting Australian businesses.
They aren't something I'd personally buy either, even at their 25% discounted prices you can pick up a grey import Swiss made Hamilton Khaki field watch with a 2824 movement, and they aren't tacky….
Thought someone may be interested though.
They're better than a shitty fashion watch like DW or MVMT. They use swiss movements and japanese movements depending on the watch.
Not that it really justifies the prices they charge.
I think the RRP of $800+ for what is a basic Miyota movement is very steep.
The fit and finish you get for Seikos/Orients at the same price shipped from Japan is miles better.
sounds like a tourist watch with that name…
Australian assembled doesn't mean much, i'd much prefer Japanese or Swisse or German assembled/made when it comes to watches.
