  Note that these are maxtra not maxtra+ cartridges, the jug is quite large and won't fit it in all fridge doors. Groupon used to do deals for a narrower Brita jug at around $35 with a similar number of filters.

    So would you say the Style jug starter pack inc 4 Maxtra+ filters is a better buy with 20% off signup coupon = $47.20?
    Or the same Marella jug as Groupon deal with one Maxtra+ filter with 20% off signup coupon = $27.20
    Can also get a 12 pack of filters with 20% off signup coupon = $79.20

      Brita make some claims at https://thinkyourwater.brita.hk/en/powerfilter-maxtra-plus. I have not yet run out of my Groupon non plus cartridges so I haven't compared.

  I bought a $54 jug direct from them, and on the first cartridge change, I had trouble removing the lid. It seemed stuck. But I wasn't doing it properly. The jug fell and cracked. :(

  They're not drop resistant.
