Bose QC35 II $356.01 + 2,000 Qantas Points Delivered @ Qantas Store

1040

Not it's cheapest ever, but still best price at the moment. Bose products are 20% - 35% off at the moment, I managed to score some QC35 II's for $356.31 delivered + 2,000 points. (I used all points, but I still felt this was a bargain).

Available in Silver and Black.

Hate to say it, but a quick look on eBay and I found it for $360 with free shipping. Add an eBay discount and you'll get it cheaper.

  • Worth noting that Flybuys have these at 15% off too. 85000 points. Maybe not the best use of points, but alright if you have nothing else to spend them on.

    • +1

85k Flybuys points is worth $425 at Coles.

If you can. Wait and get the Sony wh1000xm3. They are better than Bose in every single way except a touch less comfortable and phone call quality is average. Everything else is dominated by Sony. Just my 2 cents, go easy Bose fanboys and girls.

Got XM3s on Tues. NC is unbelievable. They do get a touch hot though, and yes call quality is disappointing. Could they possibly improve that via software?

      • Maybe improve it slightly, but I’d say it’s more a hardware issue(crap mic)

    • How is the Sony wh1000xm3 different from the Sony wh1000xm2?

      • google, there are plenty articles.

      • +1

USB-C. Better NC. A lot more comfortable. Sound a bit better. Quick charge. I’m sure I forgot something.

  • I got two QC35s and I am looking to buy xm3. I think it is a worthy upgrade.

How many ears do you have?

      • +2

        Looks like 6 at least

        • Are you an MMA fighter?

      • Lol, QC35 v1 and v2. Got them for around $350 each.

  • -5

lol these were under $300 at Amazon a few weeks back

  • Got the Xm3 a couple of days ago and used them in the flight yesterday for the first time. The NC is really amazing, you hardly notice the background noise. Updated the firmware on my second day, and haven't experienced any heating issues. Call quality is better in the Bose. I would recommend Xm3 over Bose due to the overall experience.

    • How's the comfort of the XM3. Imo, ears get a lot hotter in them and they pinch on your head a bit more.

  • Random question, what's the warranty length for this particular model? Is it 1 year (talking about Australian Stock)?
Can't seem to find a definitive answer around the interwebs.

  • Many QC35 i and ii are flooding the 2nd hand market at the moment because of the Sony wh1000xm3. And apparently Bose is clearly up the qc35 ii stocks now it seems.

Might be worth waiting till tomorrow, Amazon are having a BOSE sale and I'm predicting that the price could be $329.95, might be a bit higher but still worth waiting either way.

    • Hey mate, how do you know that Amazon has a BOSE sale? tempted to wait..

      • Amazon have got a 12 days of tech sale going on at the moment, and Bose is up tomorrow :)

Edit: Nevermind, seems like it's only for one speaker.. My bad. Weird, because the QC35's were in the photo on the promotion lol

  • Is there a forum post about the best way to spend points? I am thinking about getting the Canon M50 deal but curious what's the best value in terms of spending points.

    • +2

Point Hacks have great guides on how to efficiently use points, very easy to follow

  • Most review say these are better- Sony WH-1000XM3 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/408576

  • Shows up as $392 + 2000points for me?
Updated: reloaded page and it works

  • Too bad my all 8k points expired last month… :(

  • Thanks. Ended up picking this up over the Sonys. Figured that I may as well use up the rest of my points as the last time I left them, they expired after 18 months of no-use.

  • Is this still available? I can only see the limited edition on the Qantas site.

SickDmith, did you just F5 to refresh the page and appear with the discounted price?

    • Link works for me, still available for the same price. Sale ends 31st Oct.

      • Thanks.

  • I never really use my Qantas Points, I've got around 133k worth. Was thinking of getting the 2 pack of QC 35 IIs for 106k Qantas Points (one for gym, other for travel), but that's probably not a great exchange rate?

Then again, if I use them a minimum of 10 hours a week, I'd say that would be value for money so I might just pull the trigger

  • Exactly , Finally purchased it for $345 using my 3700 points with Qantas.
Lot better deal than eBAY and trusted for integrity of the product.

I would claim GST refund while getting back home , GST is Approx $31. Fair deal.!

    Thanks for it..!!

  • Just saw all of this!!!!! If anyone is still looking to buy PM me first….

    • Hey mate, I am looking to buy the QC35s..
