Wow that's expensive… It costs more than my bike !!!

    Low fuel indicator?

  • LOL costs the same as a rechargeable Led Lenser M7R + Bike Mount

I personally think thats a better buy for a brighter torch focusable lense and the fact you can clip it off and use it

  • Yawn… for everyone who doesnt know. Dealextreme is the best for bike lights. They have heaps on there. for example (http://www.dealextreme.com/p/mj-808e-ha-iii-cree-xm-lt60-3-m…)

Totally pwns any of these local lights and for half the price.

    • Not bad if you are into low quality rip offs from china.

      • You sell the same light that Sirocco linked to for $199 (vs ~$80 on DX). Now that's a ripoff.

        • it doesn't look like the same one to me…

      • Well i doubt the aussie company who brands it put any extra effort into producing this copy than DX's supplier. The only visible difference is an extension cable.

Id love to support an Aussie company first but a 100% mark up on a copy is why we increasingly like to shop overseas.

A copy is a copy is a copy.

        • you must be looking at a different link then, the housing looks entirely different.

    • I've found dealextreme bike lights to be a bit hit and miss.

  • does it come with a hoff?

    • a Hoff? David hasslehoff? wtf?

      • +2

Sorry, Does not come with David Hasslehoff.

        • what about David HASSELHOFF? :)

not exactly the same but maybe better for half the price

What's wrong with strapping a torch to the handle bars like we did when we were kids?

    • They need to have something new to crap on about when they ride down the cafe for a bagel on Saturday.
Other than ooo like your new shorts etc ;p

  • If you ride at night, and would like to get home alive, these lights are really good; you can be seen, and can see things (pot holes, downed branches) that might otherwise throw you into traffic.

You might get lucky on DX, and might get a light that is bright and doesn't die; if it does, you might even be able to get a refund or a replacement.

No doubt this light was overpriced at $369, but at $149, it is actually a bargain.

Comparing this to a different DX light is like saying that $3000 off a Toyota HiLux isn't a bargain because a Great Wall ute is still cheaper. True, but not relevant.

  • This is the old model, and is now superseded. I would expect it to be cheaper than $149 + $12 delivery = $161. You can get the latest model, which is now cordless and puts out 25% more light for only $169 delivered… from Wiggle… http://www.wiggle.co.uk/niterider-minewt-mini-250-cordless/
