For those whose penises are bigger than their brains presumably? This site needs far better moderation. Excuse for leaving it up (pun intended) was "has been posted before".

      • Believe anything you want pal. I know all about prostate cancer and it's not even vaguely surprising that the PCFA makes no mention of this knob's (self)promotion - for obvious reasons.

    • +2

Guilty as charged, but prostate cancer is an enormous problem, recently overtaking breast as the biggest cancer killer in the UK.

      • Biggest cancer killer for UK males.

  • +6

It's going to be hard to choose.

    • +4

Some people are so rigid with their choices though.

      • +1

Their stiffness will get them nowhere.

  • No love for vaginas?

I've been raising this awareness via Snapchat, but people just told me to stop sending dick pics.

People just don't support Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia!

    • +3

You should have tried sending pics of the artwork instead :P

Idiocy and in no way a bargain

    • I'll paste it again in case you missed it. I do hope you will be charitable.

      • Amusing with college mates.
        Cheap around other crowds

        • +2

          Prostate cancer isn't very funny.

The point of this promotion is to raise money while having a bit of a laugh.

          • @xev: Understand that
Just saying I can't think of anyone I'd want to send it to

            • @winXPHE: PM me your address. :)

              • @MrDixit: I'll pass
I just have to look down ;p

                • +2

@winXPHE: Lemme find you the free app Magnifier posted a while back…

          • @xev: The point is obvious and it has sfa to do with prostate cancer.

      • +1

I emailed them to see if he has permision to use their good name. I'll get back to you when I receive a response. Just for the record, do you believe everything you read on the internet/ozbargain?

        • +4

I just called the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and confirmed that he is fundraising for them.

You can call them as well if you like on 1800 22 00 99.

And they definitely see the humour in it.

So, just for the record, how do you feel about that?

          • @xev: That's okay then, but yes I'll confirm for myself. Irrespective, it's primarily self-promotion.

Edit: PCFA confirmed that they are aware of it so at least he has that in his favour.

    • +2

If nobody's talking about it, then it can't be happening. That's how it was with domestic violence, and that's how it is for many people concerning prostate cancer which is now UK's biggest cancer killer. Therefore this is a positive move to reduce embarrassment about "down there".

      • +1

It the UK's and Australia's third biggest cancer-related killer.

There is nothing to be embarrassed about. Regular blood tests are simple and the Australian govt now subsidises MRIs for people with suspicious symptoms. A DRE is quick and although uncomfortable is no big deal.

Thank you to everyone who is supporting the cause. The drawings are designed to be sent as a gift of love and good humour, something nice to put a smile on the face of a friend when they open the mail.
The drawings have brought joy to many people sending and receiving them as gifts. Perhaps more importantly, it has raised money and awareness for prostate cancer research.

I hope you can appreciate that the artist has donated hundreds of hours of his time doing drawings to raise money for PCFA which is why I am always keen to share his work.
If the idea doesn't appeal to you, that's ok. Let's all try to be kind to each other whatever our thoughts are.

    • +1

Thanks to you for posting and the artist for all his effort and talent.

I am sorry that some members were less than charitable towards this good cause.

I hope you still manage to raise some urgently needed research funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

      • -2

You weren't elected to speak for objectors afaik. That said, on the tenuous basis that the artist and the deal poster are both involved on a good faith basis and had no notion that self-promotion on the back of a "good cause" is contemptible I'm happy to withdraw my objection. You might want to check PCFA's financials re the % allocation of funds to research.

        • +4

I am not speaking on behalf of anyone else but myself.

You are not speaking on behalf of anyone but yourself.

You tried to get the mods to remove this post and when they refused you negged it.

Even after it was pointed out to you that it was to raise funds for charity, you didn't remove the neg but instead decided to make allegations against people trying to do some good.

Even after your allegations were proved incorrect you continued to besmirch these people.

This could have been a fun little post that made a bit of money for a cancer charity.

But not if you had your way. And you did.

Who cares if you withdraw your objection, the community revoked the neg for you.

You should offer to pose for a drawing for the artist, you would make a good subject.
          You have proven that today.

          • -1

@xev: You apologised on our behalf pal. Elementary English.

The link went to the business, not the fund-raising page. Anyone linking their business directly in such a manner is clearly focused on cashing in on the "good cause". This was presumably not the artist's doing but the deal poster's.

If he drew my "knob" and your IQ I doubt there'd be any discernible difference.

Did you look at the financials to find out how much of each donation goes to "much needed research" yet?

            How much did you donate?
