I have these, and they are pretty good, but you can get them online for $100 odd pretty often.

For local stock, this might be a good price.

    • Thanks for the review. I was wondering.

I wouldn't recommend these simply for the fact they require a dongle for charging. Jaybird/Logitech can't/won't stock replacement dongles, so if you lose or break it, you're left with useless headphones (or buying for big $$$ from eBay)

They're decent enough headphones, but for the price you should be able to get something similar without a dongle, or at least from a company that supports their products

    • They don't sell replacement chargers? Damn, that's crappy!

      • OH they sell them, just not to Australians….

        • Yeah I just tried buying some and I got this message:

"The following products are restricted by the shipping country you specified."

    • Second that. I have relegated these to gym only headphones as I would be too terrified to take them anywhere when travelling. Also, the sound is so-so at best.

you can find these in white for $105, black is not online but in store only, as they are clearing out stock

    • Yeah just got this deal, very happy with them. Postage from Rebel was quick.

  • U may still be able to get it at rebel for $105. bought it last week there but stocks are low because of the clearance (x4 is just about out)

I have a pair of these and the sound quality sucks, they make everything sound like a 128kb/s mp3. They're my first Bluetooth headphones so I thought that was just a BT thing but my $40 qcy buds sound much better. Wouldn't recommend these at any price.

  • I have these and the sound quality is good enough but the earbuds slipped off constantly, it was SUCH a pain until I superglued my last remaining pair on (a massive gamble but I couldn't take it anymore). Wouldn't buy again and wouldn't recommend.

I was going to comment the same thing, lost almost all my buds because of the bad design. I also can't recommend these because of the annoying dongle you have to carry to charge them.

    • I noticed the same problem on mine, try downloading the Jaybird app and using the "High Definition Sound" profile, it made it sound far better - give it a go.

  • I have these, the sound quality is garbage, the bluetooth cuts out often and replacement charging dongle costs a bomb. Can't say I'd recommend them.

I think people are being way too harsh concerning the sound quality frankly. They sound better than my wifes JBL Reflect Mini's and other similarly priced wireless headphones I've tried. Nothing amazing, but really nothing to complain about. The design issues are a bigger concern.

For those with the same wireless IEMs, try downloading the Jaybird App and giving the "High definition sound" preset a go - It should have sounded like this out of the box imo.

Lovely! Thank you for the tip :)

  • These will do if you are only going to listen to them for short periods of time. Also good when the music itself is not your focus (i.e. gym). Otherwise, give them a pass. They are uncomfortable (too bulky) despite the 4 different sizes and 2 different types of earbuds, they sound trash (until you spend an hour in their app playing at sound engineer) and the charging cable is proprietary. Save your money and spend on better headphones.

  • Personally I love my Jaybirds, they might not be amazing sound quality wise but you can play with the EQ in the app, and it's a tradeoff with the amazing battery life and how mobile they are. I use these on planes, and once ran out of battery and they charged back to full in about 20-30 min!

In terms of comfort, the box includes 3 different 'wings', you tuck them in the folds of your ear kinda? And 2-3 different sizes of earbuds for two different types of materials (one is kinda rubbery and one is like memory foam).

At the end of the day it's $100, it's well worth it imo 😊

  • The EQ app is great. The Sound quality is ok. The comfort is average, they are much better with comply foam than the rubber earbuds.
My biggest complaint are the buttons on one side. It causes an imbalance and slightly more pressure on one ear.

  • Bought a pair around July 2017 from JB Hi Fi and now the battery is dead - I have always used a "standard" USB wall charger to charge them but according to the FAQ's on the Jaybird website they say "We recommend using a computer as it’s the best and safest method. Anything 1 amp or less is safe. Some chargers can produce a lot more power than is needed to charge your buds, so try and avoid them."

So although my wall charger indicates a 1.0 amp output perhaps it isn't all that reliable. I lost the receipt so can't return them.

Can anyone recommend another brand of wireless in-ear phones around the same price?

    • JB has an electronic copy of your receipt. A relo just replaced a faulty Beats headset without as receipt.
