Saw gopro hero 5 black for 336.96 and went to good guys thomastown and they priced match. Hope this is a good deal

    I'm sure there are more clearance of Hero 5 soon, as there seems to be a lot of excess stock for this model compared to Hero 6. And Hero 5 even though is a 2016 model, I feel is still a better buy compared to the Hero 7 White/Silver which are severely limited via the software. They don't even have Protune!

  Why buy this when you can buy the Gopro Hero 2018 for $249 and hack it to be Hero 5 Black.

    Considering the price point you can get the 2018 for and the fact that it is a re-badged GoPro Hero 5 Black with the same hardware and some software gimping going on, I agree.
