Hey fellow Ozbarginers,

Today I was in Westfield Parramatta(NSW) and went to look at Sony to buy a new camera, The Kiosk there had the A6000 with a 16-50mm Lens for $649. I asked why it was so cheap and they are damaged boxes from shipping the salesman said. I ended up buying one and it still had a security seal thing keeping the box shut. Seems to be in perfect condition and brand new. Sales man said they have 15 of them.

I'm happy with mine. Just thought I'd share.

I don't know if I did the format correct..still learning)

  I think they've been cheaper before, not a bad deal if someone is looking for a good camera, I think I got mine for like $450 brand new couple years ago with same lens and sd card

    The NEX series is getting a bit old now but I personally would look at something newer than the A6000 which has been out for a while. Whilst the AF is still fantastic, there's no IBIS and Sony's E mount lenses are ridiculously expensive for what they offer. Just my preference of course based on my needs.
