I got this in a previous deal. As a hoarder…err…collector of Cree flashlights, I wasn't that impressed with this. Seems unnecessarily bulky and the button doesn't always work. Maybe I just got a dud.

    • I'm with you. The button seems like it'll only last a few months and not as bright as I thought it would be. Granted, I'm only using an Ikea battery and not a 14500.

      • My unit does not steplessly(?) dim or ramp up, it only has around 4x steps of brightness.
I contacted Banggood and uploaded a video, but now I can't find the support area of the website anymore…

    • Mine has been pretty good - got one last deal. I though the build quality was fine for the money. Wish it was brighter on 2AA with the extension tube. Gets long runtime instead.

  • Got this with the AA tube last time it was up. Nothing special but the Mrs likes it, tail cap magnet base stands on metal bedside light. Bright enough using 14500. I like the ramping though it's a bit slow. Diffuser is nice.

  • Can anyone recommend a good 14500 battery (how many mAh is good?) and charger for it.

  • I got mine on a previous deal. I bought the 2xAA tube as well, but never carry it that way. Too long. I like the brightness and tint for one AA, runtime is okay, but I change the battery after every hourish of run. My only complaint is it isn't "bite-able" for me. A clear step above all my Ultrafire garbage.
