Shopping at AMart and noticed Tempur mattress on sale for $1699 (getting ready for new stock), normally they are over $4000. They also have some show floor clearance stocks which are $200-$300 cheaper.
These are a lower quality tempur built on price. My understanding is they are made in Poland, not Denmark,have a 7 year warranty instead of the usual 10, is missing thr Cooltouch layer, and have a lower foam density from normal Tempur. Not the same ones at all and hence the lower price.
Would you say it's not worth the price?
Sounds like it could get quite hot.
The last time I looked, the Harvey Norman Nunawading store was having a sale for the latest Tempur model for $300 more, which were made from Denmark with 10 years warranty and the Cooltouch layer which featured active cooling. I was also told the density of the foam were a lot lower which affects the longevity which was why these Amart ones only warrant for 7 years. For a top brand mattress, I would definitely go with the better one for $300 more just for peace of mind.
No longer Super, just regular now.
That's pretty cheap. I believe the 20cm indicates a 9cm memory foam layer which is perfect.
Avoid if you have a particularly cold or hot house, otherwise you'll love it.
