I just used my second eBay account with the same PayPal account to buy another $500, 10% off still worked! Just a FYI if it has not been mentioned previously:)
They will close down your PayPal and hold the last big chunk of payment that you make (anytime from now to eternity, say 2 weeks from now you pay $800 to buy something, they will hold on to it) before they investigate.
Can you expand on this? Me and wife has our own eBay accounts, but we use same PayPal account. Are we not allowed to do this?
I think if you have valid IDs you can request a review (if the account (s) is blocked) and they will release the funds. But, if the accounts are not legitimate, there is no way to request a review as they will need proof of ID. In the latter case, they will hold money for 6 months and I don't know what happens at the end (a review of their losses will be done).

Why would they do that? Is there a rule that one eBay ID one PayPal account? They could easily detect this when I made this purchase and give me a message something like “you can not use this PayPal account as it’s linked to another eBay ID”. No, it didn’t happen. My PayPal account is still working. This deal’s T&C did not say 5 cards limit per PayPal account.

But later in the afternoon Andy Lee from PayPal emailed all correct codes to me. All good!

I'm concerned that Ebay won't be running any sitewide >10% off given how many of these they have sold (and continue to sell). This is basically a substitution for the time being
They may even change their policy so that vouchers can't be used for sales!
If they did that I would want a refund. At the the of purchase you can stack the coupons + vouchers, and the expectation would be that this feature remains..

You can still 'buy' the vouchers but the voucher codes are missing 9 numbers.
My 1st lot all has 13 digit codes, I hope 2nd lot comes fine as well, fingers crossed

Anyone worked out the best way to report the gift card problem with only 4 digits, not 13? I tried to find a way to contact Paypal support, but ended up raising an issue under something unrelated because their support links are awful (and some broken entirely)

I'm hoping it comes back. Their regular eBay gift card ad where you could choose from 5 to 200 was also taken down. So I'm hoping it's temporary because of the invalid code people seem to be receiving.

I would start by contacting the seller, go through the usual steps when there's an issue with an ebay transaction… It seems to be a common issue so no doubt they will take care of it…
