How do you get the first one free , and do you have to continue the service after the first ?

would be good if you would provide those details also are you a rep for this company ?

Okay just tried to place an order and it wants payment info , seems you need to get a minimum of 3 orders then can cancel

    • How do you get the first one free

      you subscribe.

and do you have to continue the service after the first ?

"Dont[sic] worry you can cancel any time."

      edit :

seems you need to get a minimum of 3 orders then can cancel

that's dodgy misleading advertising then, deserves a -ve…

      • lol now you see why my questions jv ;)

  • Suspicious lack of details

its not paranoia , come here more often its more like the norm.

Actually you are incorrect, there is no way to get it free, it requires payment

    • Ahhh…it's because you didn't specify in your description that it's your first post and to be kind and blah blah.

By the way, anyone know who benefits from the link…http://www.harvestbox.com.au/Affiliate/ADCON/ ?
Why not just go straight to http://www.harvestbox.com.au?

He gets $1 off for his next box for every person that signs up using that link. He didn't declare that and yet was rude enough to tell others to get a brain.

i like the concept, and seems cheap. but I am always wary of the "you get it for free, but first give me your cc details, and i promise you can cancel anytime" deals.

in this case I can understand why though, damn expensive to send out nut samples. better to target people who are genuinely interested.

I'd give it a go but I don't trust my mailroom lol.

    on the fence.

edit: didn't read this "seems you need to get a minimum of 3 orders then can cancel" from post above.

    off the fence.

  • I hate these things where it's cheap/free for the first month or whatever, but they still ask for payment details..

  • Affiliate links are not allowed.

  • I got burned for posting this deal a couple of months ago, and apparently it's a duplicate of a previously posted deal anyway:

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/31794

I got the freebies, and you can cancel after the first box is received.

  • As other posters have mentioned above, affiliate links not allowed.
Edit: Okay, the mods took out the link.

  • Plus… it's 50 grams :/ not very big, imo not worth the hassle.

    • That about the weight of a Snickers bar! Very small size.

    1. Affiliate links are allowed in the description and if declared.:

Affiliate links are generally not welcomed over here in OzBargain. Not that we do not want you to make money, but instead OzBargain already have a very good cashback scheme in place that is partnered with many affiliation networks in Australia. Therefore by using your link, our members might miss out the chance of getting cashback, which makes your deal more expensive!

However, if there is no affiliation network that can provide cashback to our members, i.e. they will have to pay the same amount anyway if they don't click through your link, then the moderators here might turn a blind eye on it. Please make sure that you put enough declaration in your post about the affiliate link. Please do not post affiliate links in the main URL.

I have removed the affiliate link.

    Go nuts!

  • Pyramid Scheme?

  • Saw the same deal couple months ago and I didn't like the T&C of them. So I don't think this is a freebie. But that is just my opinion.

  • i got this last year, then the offer was 1st one free, 2nd one half price, i canceled after 3rd delivery, no problems with recurring payments, it was ok but i stopped because i thought paying around 7 bucks for what is mostly a dried fruit tray is a bit rich, if you're lucky one tray will have 2 whole Brazil nuts!

I was wary first time I used it but took the risk and it cancelled just fine. Don't blame you all for negging though, this guy was a jerk about it. The mixes of chocolate & fruit are yummy.

  • "Enter your payment details. Dont worry you can cancel any time."
Very misleading as you have to get a minimum of 3 orders before you can cancel.

  • I have just ordered. we shall see if they keep to "cancel anytime" promise :)
