Picked up Xbox game pass in the last deal posted here but noted it was going to run out about a week after Forza Horizon 4 comes out, now I can play without having to buy the game.

Oh damn targeted! I had an ad on my Xbox saying 50% off 3 month renewal so figured it was for everything.

If people are wanting to join to try MS exclusives, remember that you can just create a new Microsoft account repeatedly to use the free trial period, essentially making this service free :)
That kind of abuse might be the reason why companies stop giving out free trials.

Cancelled my subscription which was ending start of November, checked back next day and option appeared for 3 months at half price ^_^

So the other day on the xbox home, it came up as 50% off, and the only option was for 1 month at $5.95, so I got it. Happily, but then the same screen came up again and I thought, hey, can I stack? So I went and no deal. Just the one month for $10.95. Oh well, I thought. Darn, as well.
Then, today, the same screen was there - 50% off Game pass. I was like, maybe … who knows. So I followed the deal, it came up on the xbox live gold screen, with an ad for 14 day trial for game pass. I clicked through that, and there it brought me to the game pass sub screen, with 1 month for 10.95 shown. I went up and selected it to see, and wow, there was 3 months for 16.43. So I purchased it.
Did this again a few more times. Now have a years worth for ~$64. Kids and I love it, so I was happy to get the deal. Saw that people’s experience here was mixed, and since mine never came up on my account via my laptop browser, and only my xbox, and variably, I thought I might should encourage people to investigate further.
