Next cheapest I can find is from CPL online for $58.80.

      I'd guess cause the Ethernet ports are full duplex, so 1Gbps received and 1Gbps sent x 8 ports = 16Gbps switching capacity?

      Switches have a switching capacity that is often less than required to run all ports at max speed simultaneously

  the cable management on this device is a waste of space and time check it out.. it's 5 cm long and the cables dont fir in the wedge so you have a open door.

      yeah you have to jamb the cables in there its almost half the size of the actual cable its like a v shape wedge, you might damage the copper inside the cable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0cX6P9MxnU this video shows ,
