  Aren't regular economy LAX return flights usually under a grand?

  For a couple staying in an airbnb, average nightly price of $182 for LA, you could have 16 days extra holiday time for a slightly shittier flight.

    If you can get it using flyer points it's with it. Slightly extra leg room is better than nothing.
