I think so, yes. the EZ950 was replaced by the FZ950 this year.
12 month "supplier" warranty. Is the supplier the retailer, the manufacturer, or a 3rd party?
It'll be Panasonic or whoever they use to service their products.

Yep… significantly better. Stuttering issues addressed out of the box, glare filter that was only on the ez1000 last year, and I think it has a new image processing chip are the main three.
I think the refresh rates are slightly better and you get a better looking stand if you're not wall mounting.
Plus Absolute Black filter on all models this year instead of the flagship last year
Wait two months and buy this year's model at a very similar price

I bought this TV a few months ago for just over 2k. It is a great tv but the reflection is a bit of an issue so i agree with comments above the new model with better reflective filter is probably a better option if only a few hundred $$$ extra.
bought yesterday and got email last night saying order is ready for pickup!!! might go on thursday.
I purchased this TV brand new from harvey norman almost 1 year ago for $1870, this doesnt seem like a good deal at all..
