  • trying to find T&C of how long do I have to hold this policy before I can cancel?

Trying to find one, But not able to. Will get back if i find something. The offer directly takes to the Policy page where can't see the promotion details.

"Does not require an interview or medical examination on application"
Generally the signs of a poorer payout/quality product.
I'ld much prefer medical underwriting now and know that a claim would be paid out in the future, compared to assessment on claim and them finding i had a minor issue which they somehow linked to the reason for death/injury and thus not paying out a claim, after paying the policy premiums for years.

  • This promo used to offer 20k for 60 days hold. Hopefully it’s open to everyone.

    • IKR! As consumers I think we should hold off on new deals unless they are equal or better than previous …. if consumers just take up what ever is on offer, then that might be the 'norm' moving forward … hmmm

    • Only took 1 month for me after I got the points cancelled straight away and wasn’t a problem.

so for 5K pts , it should be for 1.5 mths to be worthwhile :)

I was looking to apply but held back as the there are not clear T&Cs. Spoke to AMEX chat they said they can't advise as it's an insurance product so advised me to contact AMEX EZI Cover team. Dropped them a note over the weekend, yet to hear from them.

    • Any update? I cannot see this offer in the app, but I can see it in my AMEX online account.

  • Definitely targeted. I didn't get one, though I did sign up for thr previous 20k for 6 months. Ahh good times.
