I just upgraded to an Xbox One X recently and this looks like a good deal to me.

      Probably too late now. They had a pretty good deal about two years back. Traded my original One towards a One S + Battlefield 1 + an UHD Movie and I think all up I was about $120 - $150 out of pocket after they factored in my Level 4 memberships extra 30% trade value. Also didn't have to trade any games in.

      Not sure anyones jumping to get original consoles at this time.

      Given the age of the vanilla Xbox One, I think thats an even better deal than the Xbox One S trade…

    I can probably pick up a non-genuine wired controller for $20 somewhere, then keep genuine for extra controller myself.

    Note that the 2 games u trade in usually have to have a minimum trade in value of $5 each. My eb world bonus usually works on these kinda trade ins. They r probably clearing out old cboxes with the new Xbox one x White console coming very soon. They have a trade in deal for that too

      Preowned Destiny 1 is $6. You can buy two copies in store and trade them. Did this myself when I trade in my OG Xbox One -> Xbox One S.

    Did the X1X faults get fixed by minor hardware or software revisions?

    From memory there was some serious issue that was cropping up a fair bit. Not a huge xboxer (I have all consoles) so I forgot the details.

    Confirming this deal. I've just done the trade in. 3 things to point out:

    • Doesn't seem to matter if your One S is 500GB or 1TB. Mine was 500GB and was advise the trade in amount would be the same.
    • Non Microsoft controller is accepted.
    • You won't get the 2K19 code right away, it'll be available to you free of charge to collect on the 11th of Sep.

    Had already traded in my Xbox One S + 2 games in preparation for the Forza bundle in October but I was able to go in store and they transferred the credit and I got the better deal! EB you bloody legends 👍🏻

    Have anyone traded in the old Xbox One 1TB ( not S) with cheapo non MS controller and $1 Ebay HDMI cable, are they providing still $329, that will be amazing as can get EB game gift cards for 7% off, that will make it less than $250. I had got the original one 1TB for like $120 on gumtree !!

    worth mentioning that
    1. no minimum trade in value required for those 2 games
    2. EB membership gets 10%off, so I paid $269 actually

          @Smigit: That's also what I was told as well. The lady said the deal already offered 2X the standard trade in value (i.e. 100% trade bonus) so regardless of which EB world level you are at, it is impossible to get 100% bonus trade value.

    PS4 games were accepted, need all power cable, working HDMI, controller, console (500gb accepted)

    I asked if I can change the game, they said on Tuesday, after the game release, I can get store credit for 100 and use it to buy any other game - going for tomb raider

    Another tip. I asked about buying a cheap wired controller for the trade rather than give them my Xbox One S wireless controller. They said no to a wired controller however there was a "no controller provided" option in their system. It meant I paid $45 more for not trading in a wireless controller. Happy with that since Xbox One S controllers go for ~$80.

    Tempting though I don't game that much on my Xbox1s but more of a 4k blurays and skype video conferencing. I even use my SonyX700 mainly as my bluray player.
