These type of gas heaters are not suitable for customers who breathe oxygen.

    Fixed it for you!

These are unsuitable for Vic solely because the goivernment has had the balls to outlaw them there.
They're flueless, meaning that the combustion products are not vented to the atmosphere, instead you sit there breathing them in!
It's the equivalent to ducting a garden hose from your exhaust pipe into the cabin to warm the car…

    • Holy crap! Do they emit combustion gasses inside the house???? Carbon monoxide poisoning is a terrible way to silently go crazy and possibly die

      • What makes you think that you'll get CO as a combustion product?

Carbon monoxide is a colourless, odourless, tasteless and highly poisonous gas that is produced when natural gas or LPG burns.

Not an expert but isn't it common knowledge? Correct me if I'm wrong.

        • @bm:

Not an expert either and I go with what we learned in high school which is that combustion products are CO2 and water vapour. if the gas is not fully combusted you may get some impurities but in full combustion I don't think you'll get CO.

That link you posted confused me though???

        • @Sharp:
CO is a product of incomplete combustion. It's pretty much unavoidable at a certain level.
CO will simply accelerate the suffocation by CO2 by reducing the amount of O2 your bloodstream can adsorb.

  • Nice price. Unfortunately I have had some very poor experiences with 2nds World in the past to the point where I will refuse to shop there.

That being said this is a good price it seems.

Wont neg because it is a good price, but i cant bring myself to upvote due to a very bad customer experience.

  • You need enclosed area to have the room warm up and keep it with consistent temperature. Since it’s flueless which mean it requires windows to be open. This can hardly keep up the warm…?

  • Would this be big enough to heat the following house floor plan
    http://oi65.tinypic.com/2rx75ar.jpg

How much of the house would it heat if we were to close the toilet, bathroom and laundry doors.

We currently have a square window mount reverse cycle air con in the lounge room that we use to heat during winter (this really only heats the lounge and kitchen) and take a bit of a chill out of the bedrooms.

    • May I ask you a question?

Did you read the first comment and are still interested in buying this?

      If so, why?
