There are limited models, limited sizes and limited numbers available in each, but this is the first time I've seen MuckBoots available in Australia on a good sale so thought this might be useful for some people. The boots seem to be eligible for Free Returns, very cool.
Search in "Fashion Sales & Deals" category for MuckBoots, or you do a general search for Muckboots then sort by lowest price, look at the ones with a low price in the price range. If you pick a size that isn't on sale, it'll show a higher price, so check your size is on sale before you buy.
What are MuckBoots?
They're a glorified gumboot popular in most developed countries except Australia, particularly places that are cold and wet. They have heaps of models suited for different tasks. I have a pair of Arctic Sport which are good for cold weather and are the main boot offered on Antarctic cruises. The MuckMaster is I think the original model. The Chore is aimed at farms. They have some hunting boots. Most feature rubber and neoprene, 100% waterproof, some have steel caps etc, and most are mid rise or high rise (to knee). If you get one suited to your foot, they are very comfortable. They also sell shoes. See MuckBoots website for more info.
Most are unisex showing mens and womens sizes (eg Mens 8 US/Womens 9 US), otherwise women should choose the mens size one lower than they normally wear. Sizing is supposed to be whatever you wear in athletic shoes. Some allow for wider calves, so check reviews. No half sizing. They also have women's boots built around a women's last, that are ok for men with narrow feet.
Boots for warm weather:
- MuckBoots Men's Pursuit Snake Boot $65.44, limited sizes, but not many in each size. 4C to 35C, reviews say it is suited to people with slim calves. The title is for the Pursuit Glory, but there's 2 options. The Glory is $94.53 in size 8 M US only. Next cheapest Pursuit Snake I could find was $179 at Gun Emporium and ~ $200 on ebay.
- Muckboots Chore Cool Boot $44.99 for mid cut (half to 3/4 up shin) size 6, 8 and 9, $54.53 for high cut (to knee) size 5-9, various sizes.
