      Being locked to a network does not add $340 to RRP. You can unlock for around $80 on most networks, I think $100 is the highest.

  Hi uniquemobiles, will this definitely not work at 3g speeds for optus? I checked the technical specs and it says GSM 900MHz is supported is that 2g? Is the optus 3g hspa 900mhz?

    Hi Cosjav, This particular model is compatible with 3G (2100) and Next G (850) though not compatible with Yes G (900mhz)
