I think so , yes. It's my no-brainer 'go-to' as it's a little bit smoother than Red Label with a tiny tiny little hint of smoke but not enough to take over… just there in the background. I usually only mix with Cola of any variety so it doesn't have to be anything too amazing anyway :)
Yeah, it's miles above Red Label; Black Label is aged for at least 12 years and doesn't have that syrupy Rye buzz that leaves you feeling like muck. I've had it on the rocks many times as is my preference and I find it quite easy to drink. At this price, it's a bargain.
i reckon they are taste pretty much the same to gold label, very good in value.

Both this and monkey shoulder are safe staples. Monkey shoulder not on sale much from what i've noticed though.
I will get one each just to try the black label, I like Monkey Shoulder too.
