Hey all, bought this phone on release and thought I'd throw in my experience considering there's a few comments about Razer quality control.
First up, I do consider myself a gamer, primarily a PC gamer even, though I have no brand loyalty to Razer. This is actually the first Razer thing I have ever bought. I don't game on mobile and I haven't played any game on this phone. I have this and the pixel 2 xl from that one popular deal earlier in the year. The 120hz screen on this phone amazes me every time I touch it, makes the Pixel feel like a choppy mess. Animation times and load times, even app refreshing, don't seem any different between the two but the screen alone gives the Razer a massive perceived boost in performance and it feels great.
But my battery is junk. The OS constantly fails to recognise the true battery level, at these times the battery option in settings disappears, but it can be found through a search in the settings app. At these times it shows 50% or 0% and won't receive charge from a cable. It shuts down pretty regularly, sometimes it won't boot up. Sometimes it just shows 0% for days at a time. It's gotten a little worse as time has gone on. This all started when I noticed the stock Razer power brick was dead after about 3 days of owning the device. The brick won't send charge into any USB C device I have.

When I get a good run it can go 1 full day with 6.5 SOT or 2.5 days with 3 to 4 hours SOT.

I haven't returned it yet as I was also interested in the XZ2 Premium, and was considering waiting for that to release here and try for a return and exchange with JB. But it looks like that may not come any time soon and I think I'd prefer a Razer with a good battery over that now anyway. And this deal is sweet if you got one with no issues.
Despite this I have a positive perception of the device, the look and feel in the hand, 120hz screen, screen size and speaker quality just hit all the right spots with me. Against everything else I've seen release this year, I would still pick this, but from my experience there does seem to be an issue with Razer's QC.
Call me crazy if you will.
Oh, and the camera is trash.
