      OP amended prices.

      • I think would be good to mentioned about delivery and gst being added to the price in the description. Or people will start asking the same questions.

        Good price though.

  • Once you add GST it's cheaper on eBay.

  • Good deal , just be wary that the OnePlus 6T is going through certification at the moment so an announcement on a successor is imminent.

Really tempting and the rumour of triple cameras is interesting. If it ends up being 6.4" that may just be too big for me and I'll opt for a OP6 instead.

Poco F1 (by Xiaomi) would be another SD845 phone due to release and should be under AUD$500

Missing NFC weirdly… Otherwise it's a beast of a phone.

      • Yeah that's what puts me off. It's one helluva phone, but I just can't survive without NFC.

      • Notn wierdly. No one uses NFC for mobile payments in China. WEchat and Alipay is all QR codes.

        • Most of Xiaomi phones have NFC. Also this is directly targeted at OP6, and international dominance.

        • @OnlinePred:

Most Xiaomi phones do not have NFC. Only the higher end Xiaomi phones.

Also the Poco phone is not targeted at the OP6 - thats purely some commentators saying that based on the SD845. It has a plastic body for one. It also lacks the range of bands that the OP6 has.

        • @sambutler9876: there may be an international version though. Also has loads of things op6 doesn't have. Kevlar back 😉

        • @sambutler9876:

"The polycarbonate model is available in Graphite Black, Steel Blue, and Rosso Red.

If you’d like something a little fancier, you should look into the top Pocophone F1 version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Called “Armored Edition”, this model comes with a back made of Kevlar fabric that resembles the Motorola Droid Razr from a few years ago. It’s the only version we would feel confident using without a case, as it feels quite sturdy and the extra grip is reassuring. The Kevlar model is only available in black."

I have an 8/128 Oneplus 6 and it has NFC.

    • Poco F1 has bugger all 3G/4G support however. That's part of the reason why it's so cheap. They pay less in licensing to Qualcomm.

      • +1

According to GSMARENA, Poco F1 supports all the major LTE bands (Band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 40) other than the obvious Band 28.

        3G supports are also good (850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100)

@Clear - can you please check if you could offer a decent deal on Poco F1?

        Thanks

        • +1

No B28 is bugger all ;) I work with around a lot of B28 only towers.

Possibly. Xiaomi can be hard to price match but I'll see.

        • Around $370 US is what I can do the Poco

No NFC? I have the oneplus 5 and it has NFC

    • +1

The Oneplus 6 has NFC, other people are talking about the upcoming Poco F1 by Xiaomi that will not have NFC which is, to an extent, in the same category as the Oneplus phones.

    • Still $20 cheaper through this deal, prices in title include shipping + GST. So, assuming you make a new aliexpress account and get the $10 USD off, it will be $514.06 USD. Convert to AUD = approx $703.15 AUD - $50 cashback = $653.15 AUD.

      • +2

But you can use the code penny5 to make it $640 and then 2% cashback + flybuy points

        • Looks like the price spiked $20 last night, so not anymore.

    • That will be sweet with ebay USA 15% off, thanks !

  • Super excited for OP6T to be announced tbh, I would recommend waiting for announcement at least
