Saw this earlier today at Costco Moorabin, this may not be the cheapest Samsung Gear S3 in the history but $349.99 is decent price for local stock with red band extra. Though membership required (from $60 per year)
Not sure if other Costcos offer the same promotion.

how tf is this watch still selling for > 300….
I bought this back in 2016 for 399.. Its more than 2 years old.
Because the RRP is $600? Its better than anything Samsung released since IMO, well till it's direct successor comes out.
Will wait until its less than 300 and then get it
better wait for less than $250

Galaxy Watch
After a years use of my s3, I can safely say it worth every penny. Snappy, long last battery, what more you asking?
Functional voice recognition would be a start…
Ive and a s3 for a year now and voice recognition might as well not be there. Navigation also doesn't work, not even with the paid app. It looks sick though and battery life is way better than my old android wear watch.
Should I get the S3 or wait 1 month for the Galaxy Watch?

You can buy smart or buy the latest. Depends what's your priority
The upgrades in the Galaxy watch really don't seem worth the upgrade over the gear S3.
Unless you need to use your watch totally independently from your phone (Sim card in watch, make phone calls without your phone connected) then I see no real reason to upgrade.
Looking at a smartwatch for the mrs - I'm assuming the Frontier is the smaller of the two from appearances?
They're both pretty much exactly the same in size. If anything, the frontier may be slightly bigger because it's supposed to be the more ruggedized version.
I've got a frontier and I love it. It fits my wrist perfectly and I'd say I've got pretty average sized wrists. My sister had got small wrists but it still looks pretty good on her.

Don't you need your name on the invoice to be able to claim GST?
I've successfully claimed GST multiple times without my name on the invoice (esp regular cashier check out store, such as JB-HiFi, Costco, etc.)
As long as you carry the item when you're claiming.
