No extra speakers or cables required: just authentic and immersive sound from all around.

Music Made Easy with Chromecast built-in
Stream any music from your smartphone, laptop, or PC to the LS7200 with ease. Control playback with Chromecast-enabled apps you know and love from your iPhone, iPad, Android™ phone or tablet, Mac or Windows® laptop, or Chromebook.

Internet Radio and On-demand Streaming
TIDAL, Deezer, and TuneIn are baked into the GUI, which makes it super easy to select music using Onkyo Controller or the included remote. Spotify® subscribers can also cast direct from Spotify app to soundbar.

Wi-Fi®, AirPlay, and Bluetooth® Technology
Dual-band 5 GHz/2.4 GHz Wi-Fi assures a stable connection so you can stream over AirPlay and the local network. Bluetooth wireless technology provides a quick and simple streaming from your choice of app and device.

Multi-Driver Soundbar System

  • Wow.. that price tag.. must be something good

  • +1

Bought one during the previous half price sale a few months back, very happy with it.

  • Not sure 250W non-5.1 system is $1500 worth…but at this price, maybe. Atmos still very new.

    • Atmos still very new.

and totally unnecessary. I don’t get how 3D soundscape is compelling in a 2D viewing experience. “Legacy” 7.1 is more than sufficient at home,

      • It's just useful to be able to decode it.

yas 207 sounds better imo, i compared them for 2-3 hours at costco and harvey norman when i got my yas 207

Only negative about the yas is the cross over frequency

    • +5

You compared them for 2-3 Hours…. LOL

      • +1

yup, went in middle of the day and no one cared as the stores were pretty much empty :) The store sales guys were enjoying the music i linked via bluetooth too haha!

        • +1

So you did comparisons in store with Bluetooth for 2-3hrs? Sounds legit and worthwhile!

        • @Mitch889:

i went to costco and harvey about 2-3 hours total :)

i tried about 15-20 soundbars in total

If you're interested in audio enough to spend a few hours testing dozens of soundbars the real question is.. why get a soundbar and not 5.1?

      • +1

Somewhere out there, there was a dinner and a person who works at Costco security commented about "a guy spending 2hrs testing soundbars at work today" lol

  • so is this good? lol

    • I doubt so. Don't buy the hype - soundbar no matter how good they claim will never match the soundstage of a true 5.1 system.

If you are serious about sound and have the space - 5.1 / 7.1
If you are a casual listener and don't have space - soundbar

      • +2

What if you are a serious listener but don't have space, your suggestions?

        • +1

Don't buy until you have the space

        • @bestbarginever: second this. I got the k950 which has rears, it's good enough as a 5.1 system but for Atmos I don't even notice, its definitely not coming from the ceiling even with Atmos demos. Sure it lifts the sound stage up a bit higher but not because it sounds like sound is coming from the top.

        • @bestbarginever: Seriously though, do you have a more compact suggestion that would be a reasonable stop-gap measure?

        • +1

          @buckster:
My suggestion is go cheap and buy YAS 207 because speaking from experience, with stop-gap measure you will likely be looking for something better pretty soon and if U go cheap you can sell it very quickly in gumtree.

Also heard good thing about YAS 207

  • Few question:

    • Does this include wireless rear speakers?

    • How is the height sound works for Atmos & DTS:X? Virtual or bounce?

    • Dunno on the second (it has upward facing speakers in the soundboard so I assume bounce?) , but first is a flat no. Only reason I didn't buy, there's no way to add rear speakers from what I read, wireless or otherwise.

  • Seems like a good deal.
    Legit question though:
I have a nice amp with atmos decoding, spotify connect etc.
Currently I have big Dali front speakers and a centre but I have no space for rears or wires and I really just want to reduce my equipment footprint in the room.
Does a soundbar like this play nicely with an external amp? I would be okay with losing true 5.1 possibilities for this, but don't really want to offload my nice amp which I run basically everything through.
