Nice, was afraid I missed out when the last one expired.
    Now its 30¢ cheaper!

  • longer the better

    • As always, enjoy!

    • That's what she said.

      • +3

        That was the joke ..

    • Always good to have dual inputs too.

  • +8
    • +2

Technology is supposed to make things smaller, not bigger.

That's why i line my underwear in tin foil.

      • I think has to do with the dual output.

        • +9

          The undies or him?

        • @TheRealCher:
Dual input perhaps ? Or 1 output only, 1 input ?

      • +1

i just cringe at every recycled joke in the comments.

    • Black is still 2S as it has 2x ports pictured?

      • I'm referring to the comparison images that I posted.

  • +2

Does this work with the Switch? And does it have usb c output?

    • +1

Will charge the Nintendo Switch in Handheld Mode but not very efficiently. Doesn't have USB-C Output.

      • Can it fully charge the Switch battery and how long does it take?

        • It should be able to charge the Nintendo Switch fully, if it undocked in sleep mode. (Just note that the Nintendo Switch battery discharge faster then it can charge with this power bank, while in use.)

As for how long it will take, I'm not sure.

  • +5

Thx for the offer. Looking for under 25 for the 20k please

  • knowing nothing about these powerbanks
can it charge a Ipad? or is it just to charge phones?

    • Both

      • oops I meant can it fully charge a regular Ipad?

        • Yes should fully charge a regular 2018 iPad and then a little

        • It won't quite fully charge a regular iPad (after taking into account efficiency/conversion losses). Should do ~80-85ish %.

        • thanks guys!

        • @donnot:

after taking into account efficiency/conversion losses

Xiaomi works at about 2% conversion loss, they are one of the better ones

        • @Darce Vader:

A 10,000mAh powerbank has an output capacity of 7,400 mAh so it will not fully charge a flat iPad.

As donnot said it will do about 80%

        • +1

          @spaceflight:
Nah,the phone has its own buck converter built in, not a linear regulator. So if these converters were 100% efficient it would get transferred back to 10000mah at 3.7V. However they're probably only about 90% efficient each way so 0.9*0.9 = 81% round trip efficient or 8100mah actually reaching the battery

        • @donnot:

Edit: I take that back, Xiaomi claims a 6500mAh actual output and 1.3 charges of an iPad mini (is ~6500mAh), so it'll charge the new iPad a bit under 75%. Source.

  • Damn just bought for like $25

    • +13

If you buy one from this deal each one only costs $20 and you'll have 2!

      • +3

you'll always know that's not true

        • +14

Put them in a bag and shake it so you'll never know which one was the more expensive one.

        • +2

The pain of knowing I've overpaid by $10. Seeing two of them will just make it worse. Ouch.

        • @AlgoTrading:

Seeing two of them will just make it worse

Gift the expensive one. Two problems solved.

  • Combined with PENNY5 and came to $15.86 👍🏻

    • +1

Just note that 'PENNY5' requries a minimum order of $30.

      • -1

        Yeah, should’ve mentioned I bought two 🧐

  • Is this any good for charging a macbook pro? If not, which is best suited?

    • +11

Definitely not powerful enough to charge a Macbook Pro.

If you want to charge a Macbook Pro, you need a Powerbank that has USB-C PD Output.

Options for Power Banks with USB-C PD are:

Not listed in any particular order. Required W required for Macbook Pro varies with model

      • Thanks for post

      • Great post!Any deals re: any of the above USB-C PD powerbanks?
The Kogan one seems to be available again for $49 but there have been an alarming rate of faulty units as per the comments of each of the Kogan battery deals.

        • +2

There's currently no deal regarding USB-C PD Power Bank. Being in Australia, there's only a limited range that a available to us (as most overseas companies don't ship here anymore).

I was able to pick up the ZMI10 15000mAh from Banggood a couple a months ago with a coupon code from the rep but it currently out of stock.

  • Great timing, needed one for my mum :)

  • Thanks OP. Ordered as my old 6000 one was taking longer to charge and quick to use.

    • These are best with a QC2 charger so they charge fast.

      • Thanks will check them out :)

        • Your phone may have come with one, many Android phones do, some call it different things.
Samsung calls it Adaptive Fast Charge
          Moto calls or Turbo Charge.

I should have said, a QC2 or higher charger.

  • yek, no type c

  • I am new to this type of device, am I correct that it will charge Samsung devices and other Android stuff as well as ios system? Thanks for your input.

    • That's correct.

  • Thanks

  • I need to go sleep could we not buy all of the stock till morning, thank you. Goodnight Ozbarg.

  • +1

is it better to buy 2 10,000 ones or just a single 20,000mAh power bank?

    • +1

      Buying 2 x 10,000 vs 1 x 20,000:

      Pro:
      You have 4 output ports
You can charge 2 devices at full QC2 speed

      Cons:
You are carrying 2 units around so it gonna be bulkier and heavier

      • +1

But if you only need 1 it is smaller and lighter

      • 2 of the 10,000 ones wouldn't be much larger than the 20,000 one.

I think 2 of the older 10,000 ones with only one USB port would be smaller then the 20,000 but these new ones are larger so I don't know which works be best

  • Wow nearly 1k sold already

    • I saw that! Checked the list of people who bought it and there's one person with username i*****o buying hundreds at a time. Not sure if a competitor or if something fishy is going on

      • +1

        Maybe a Sunday markets seller?

      • whoever 6373 is they bought 740 thats about 12k worth lol

      • Someone who wants to use the cells for solar storage maybe?

      • +5

Have you ever wonder if seller = buyer is buying all up to deliver back to themselves and the worst they pay is seller fee to ebay but ebay needs to pay postage because buyer has an eBay plus account?

  • Can we get a 20k USB-C

    • +1

If you're refering to the Xiaomi ZMI10 Powerbank, the 20000mah (QB820) are discontinued and now replaced with the 15000mah (QB815).

Also won't be easy finding the ZMI in Australia.

  • I bought a tqka ka23 I know it's only 18w in pd mode but seem to charge fast enough for me

  • Has anyone thought of being a Ebay plus distributor I'll send you the money plus $2-5 and my address which you keep and send the order directly to me.

    • +2

I don’t fully understand what you mean. If you send me $28 I can send this to you.

    • EBay is already cracking up on those who take advantage of eBay plus with excessive and unrealistic postage fees

  • These make great gifts. Bought 2. Thanks.
This also enticed me to get the ebay plus membership trial.
I don't know what y'all gonna do when the trial ends and more deals pop up?

    • cancelled within 5 min of signing up..

  • Any links for a 20,000mah powerbank locally?

  • First time getting a powerbank, never owned one. I myself have a Samsung Galaxy S6, and my sister and mother have iPhone 7 and 7+ respectively. What USB cables does the powerbank come with? Will I need to get the appropriate USB cables for our phones?

    • +1

The power bank comes with a USB-A to Micro-USB cable which you can use to charge the device, you could also then use it to charge your Galaxy S6. For your other family members, the USB-A to Lightning cable will work to charge the phones, which I'm guessing they will have.

      • Much appreciated, thanks.

  • I am new to power banks and need to buy one to bring with me whilst travelling, is this power bank a Lithium-Ion or Lithium-Polymer battery? thanks

    • +1

This power bank has a Lithium-Polymer battery.

Should be fine to travel with, since most airplanes allows up to 100Wh (Watt Hours) stored in the carry-on baggage.

      To calculate Wh:

      (mAh)/1000 x (V) = (Wh)

      So for this Power Bank:

      (10000mAh)/1000 x (3.7V) = (37Wh)

    • +1

Like RichardL said, make sure you keep it in your carry on luggage. I was even asked to put mine in my "personal item" (small bag) to go under the seat in front so it could be monitored by me in case of fire, on a flight in the US a few weeks ago.

  • Got one. I really wanted to get some of the 5000mah, because they seem much more practical, but I can't pass it up at this price. Cheers ✌

  • Thanks I just bought 3 silver ones (out of black) all for $47.57 which I think is a good price. Used the Penny5 code and signed up for the Ebay Plus 30 day free trial for the free postage.
I have had a TPLink powerbank with the same capacity for some time now which I have no complaints, but I paid a similar price for just the one.

  • Got mine for $6.69 with a $10 Plus voucher. Also have a $15 voucher but saving that for a bigger purchase :)

  • Any deals for mini-usb cables? The blitzwolf ones I bought from Banggood were seriously low quality.

  • Wow. Purchased this morning and was shipped 2 hours later!

  • $15.99 in a previous deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/393627

    • +3

Much better off paying the extra and getting it from Gearbite, their support and customer service is on another level to gbd.

  • +1

Awesome deal also had a $20 discount so bought a new cheap m.2 ssd wd green 120gb so got the both for $45

  • Wish they made one that charged off lightning connector so I didn't have to carry a usb cable around just for charging..

  • +1

Sadly no longer ebay plus postage on this :(

edit: I'm new to ebay plus, happy to be corrected! Though it was confirmed by ebay live chat.

  • +1

I just bought this but had to pay $9.95 for shipping. I thought ebay plus was free shipping but seems it is only if the seller has the ebay plus logo. So I think I read it wrong. It says on post you can only get $16.69 price if you have an ebay plus account. But that means shipping is on top of that, am I right? I'd hate to think I paid shipping for nothing. I didn't know how to stack PENNY5 code either. I'm not very good navigating ebay on my phone or much at all for that matterso missed out on this extra. Please be kind. Not technically savvy.

    • +1

Unfortunately it seems like eBay removed eBay plus earlier today for this, so the order wouldn't have had free shipping with plus, which made you pay the $9.95 extra..

  • Received mine today. Any problem with leaving this on your car to charge when needed/while phone is in use? I bought it since I run out of battery when using gps/travel apps(waze and herenow) and dont want to use a charger linked to the car.

    • Just need to be mindful of tempretures during summer.

  • Just tested a rock steady 5.00V @ 2.00amps, much better performance than the other 3 Xiaomi powerbanks I have. Looking forward to using this with the TS80 Soldering iron.

  • Mine seems to charge my Galaxy tabs tablet really slow. I'm using the OEM cable.

My Samsung wall adapter is 5.2v and the xiaomi is 5.0v could that be why ?
