Sinemia also supports a lot less cinemas. Looking at the map, the only supported cinemas here in the Hunter region are older, less comfortable ones that I'd usually avoid.
Given that Event Cinemas only charge $10 regularly here for an adult ticket, the 15% off deal would bring it down to $8.50 which isn't too bad anyway. Still cheaper than it was 20 years ago.
That map on the website stinks. The app inside gives you a lot wider variety to choose from. I might still consider some event cinema gift cards, coz Sinemia doesnt support the drive-in cinema :P

@marlor: It's run by a really dodgy outfit, with inaccuracies and inconsistencies all over the place. Even the terms don't make sense. But if you jump through all of the hoops, it does work and it's quite good value.

Sinemia is better value for event cinemas, albeit a very different model + prepayment.
