Captain Morgan would say no.
Nice rum, probably wouldn't cook it on the stove though.
But it's too tall for the microwave.

I used to get this all the time at DM(@ about $37) then I couldn't find it for months.
Looks like its back at a higher price. I like this a lot. Its not a real rum but ID Care.

And an upside down mug at that - be sure to invert before use.
It’s just a metal can.
Ours has started rusting after a few weeks.
I suspect a dishwasher would obliterate the outside paint.
How's it compared to Captain Morgan?
Much nicer than CM IMO but it is a stronger flavour & more expensive.
I've been trying different rums (dark, spiced, gold) over the past couple of years and found the Angostura 5yo ($50) & 1919 ($60) rums to be fantastic.CM technically isn't a rum. It is a 'rum flavoured spirit drink'. I enjoy both, but my preference is Sailor Jerry. The CM Dark Spiced Rum (the bottle looks like The Kraken, not just the normal CM which is different), is delicious though. So if that is $40 I buy that.
Do you actually know what's going on with that?
I've seen bottles of Captain Morgan's black labelled as 'Rum' and some labelled as 'Rum flavoured spiced spirit drink'
Is the different labelling a regional thing, or have the Global Rum Cartel changed the rum rules recently?
