Some might swallow that for a trip to (almost) Europe in business class at that price ;)
Bed bugs included haha.
Nothing wrong with them
Wait, think now, book later.
That's like a standard price from syd to Tel aviv flying economy. Nice find OP
Just under 18hr layover in Sydney and 24hrs in New Delhi.
Perfect if one wants to terminate in AU on the way back and not go to NZ.
Can you do that? But luggage will go to NZ wouldn't it?
With long layovers they can short check it if you ask. You’d obviously need your medicine ;) or new pair of fresh undies… or you might want to unload some Israely gifts to family before onward flight to Nz, etc, etc.
Good prices! But you pay with your time with those mouth-watering transits!
Wow those transits are insane! I’ll pass.
I think they're called stop overs…
A layover typically refers to a connection point between cities, sometimes as short as 30 minutes or as long as 23 hours, whereas a stopover refers to staying longer than 24 hours in any given city when traveling internationally (on domestic itineraries, the limit is reduced to four hours).
Yes sure but you can still treat it as a stop over if you wanted to and possibly extend it to extra days at minimal cost.
And have to check out and check-in luggage again? No thanks!
What if it's between 23 and 24 hours?
@nightelves: I've spent a day in a city during a layover without taking luggage. I'm not suggesting it's for everyone but it could be useful for someone.
any offers from sydney to newzealand? Planning for a trip…
Anyone considering booking this, may want to consider the potential future of AIR INDIA. See this news story just from today!!!

It’s a mess. But you will get there and back.
65 hours is a long long long trip
booked. Thanks OP.
Could you check the booking subclass please? I wonder how many miles could get from this trip. The subclass may be different for NZ and Air india metal.
Neither will you if you fly Air India
