ALDImobile 240GB/365 Day Data Pack $395 | Prepaid Value Packs Updated: Now Rollover Unused Data with No Expiry (Maximum 30GB)

80

The ALDImobile $395 Data Pack gives you 240GB of data to use over 365 days. This plan does not provide you with any call or SMS credit or allowances. If you want to be able to make calls and send SMS messages at the same time as using the $395 Data Pack, you will need to ensure you have Pay As You Go credit.

Value Packs Terms Update

Rollover your unused data with no expiry up to a maximum of 30GB 1
Some Value and Data Packs have more data too.

I was going to add this as a separate deal but advised to combine them.

  1. Applies only if current Value Pack is eligible for rollover and an equal or higher Value Pack is added within 24 hours of previous Pack expiry. Unused data rolls over up to a maximum of 30GB at any one time

    $32.92 per month for 20gb

This makes the current Optus $36/month with 30GB each month look like a better deal. If it's just a data sim, you can take or leave the free unlimited calls/sms and 300min international calls on Optus, but it's a big bonus if you need that also. Aldi does have benefits with their data rollover and you can have a big month if you need, then scale back other months, so this will suit a different type of user.

Won't be able to scale back and keep the data rollover unfortunately. If you top up with a larger value pack, you're stuck on it if you want to keep data rolling over.

Been having problems lately on ALDI. Can't receive calls sometimes, friends receive SMS after a day, unable to send MMS or have to resend few times.

I've been with ALDI for 2 years, Ive never had problems like this, I'm considering changing network as it's very irritating.

Something to consider when spending $395

Likely a Telstra MVNO issue though, Telstra has been having some issues lately.
Aldi doesn't run their own mobile infrastructure.

So only way to avoid it is to avoid using any company which uses Teltra MVNO.

They have another much smaller 24Gb plan for $95, also with 365 days expiry.

    • When did that go up? Was it with this 240GB pack?

I got the pack at the beginning of the year, 20GB for $95 for 365 days.

      • Just noticed that the 240GB data pack is only available until 5-Sep-2018 and added the expiry date. (Not that there is much interest in it)

  • Yeah this seems like a pretty average deal. Pay up front for a $33/20gb/mo with no calls or sms.
