Do not get this charger if it's going to be in your bedroom - lights are really annoying. Also, the cabling broke fairly quickly.

  • I have to Unplug the power and re-plug it on each new use or it doesn't charge up the phone.

The output Voltage is - DC 5V 1A - too slow to charge.

I own one of these, it sits in a box now and I regret wasting $6 on it. Charges at a snails pace, an hour would add 20%, which isn't too bad considering it'd sit there all day during work. The worst part is that it makes this awful high pitched humming sound, that you could only barely hear, which drove me nuts for weeks until I narrowed it down as I thought it was a hard drive going bust.

  • Bought 2 of these on e-bay for under $4 each posted (from HK but here in less than 2 weeks). Both working ok so far, slow but ok…

DONT do it. El Cheapo charging pads are not worth the cash. Either plugin or buy a name brand one.

I bought a cheapy recently, its very low powered, you have to have the phone on a very specific spot, and the electronics within it are so bad the device makes an audible screaming sound when on power.

Do your self a favour, dont.
