I bought this over a year ago and past trudging through the myriad of options have never used it,

Seems I just bought hundreds of features I will never ever need, just wanted something useful and simple like Magnet for Osx.

Which if Displayfusion can do please ELI5

    • I'm not sure what you want but the basic functionality of snapping windows to halves, corners, etc, is built into Windows 10. I use the Windows key + arrow keys method all the time across three monitors:

      https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/4027324/windows-sna…

For Windows 7 and 8, you can snap to halves but if you want more control, there's free software like https://www.nurgo-software.com/products/aquasnap

      • Yeah I have windows 10 was just wondering if I missed something with Displayfusion. Magnet just gives me more options, and from a drop menu which I just find easier: https://imgur.com/a/zSF47bK

I run my PC and Mac side by side with shared keyboard and mouse. I set up the PC with the intention of migrating most of my use over to it(it's a much more powerful machine) but funnily enough it's mostly this windows snapping functionality keeping me mainly on the mac.

        Thanks for the reply!

  • @semice it covers all about the offer except the source which I think is http://www.bitsdujour.com going but the discount code.

    • fixed ;)

  • Does this help you connect different laptops to the same mouse/keyboard?

I have always had a problem connecting my work computer with home computer using free options.

Have you tried clicking on the deal? Or perhaps Google?

      • -5

It should be in the description.
Sorry I've no time nor wish to click on things I don't know what they are about or adding views count to web sites.

Doesn't have the time to click on the deal but has time to comment about not knowing what it is AND replying.

@Clear: Replaying here for the community.
Perhaps I'm adding some information you instead just arguing with me.

        • +1

Maybe if you don't know, you don't need it? Or maybe you should just buy it since its a bargain, and then you can fill in the description for us.

        • -4

@ad62623: I don't need your advises on how to spend my money.

@dealhunt: Still has time to reply "for the community".

          Isn't it helpful!

      • -3

Same question, what is it or does it do as there isn't enough info in the description to warrant clicking on it to find out about it.

Just a warning, checkout goes through without opportunity to enter discount. No 'commit to buy' step after paypal login.

  • +1

there is a enter discount code as soon as you click the link?

Click here if you have a Promo Code: is what it says ?:)

    • -1

Yes I see it, but I missed it and thought it would come up during checkout.

    Amazing for Windows 7.

Not that useful for Windows 10. Windows 10 already can do most of its functionality.

    1. "Show this window on all desktops" in Virtual Desktops is not fully functional and dev team has admitted it wont be fixed soon despite it being on their to-do list for years
    • I still use it a ton on Windows 10. I also run three different sized monitors though and slideshow different folders across them as backgrounds. Also great for making a program default to a certain monitor and lock there.

  • awesome deal, i had the trial version on my work laptop but didnt want to shell out 29US for full version

    Thanks OP

I still have 3 spare copies from a steam sale…

  • can I have your spare copy? :)

this is great program, the thing I like best about it is the desktop background can be set to internet pictures with lots of options thus you have mystery desktop wallpaper from your chosen category at your chosen resolution. it's great stuff. wish there was something like that for a Mac
