I was working for 7Eleven and did not realise that I was underpaid. I went through wages claim and got my money back. Now, I am working for the same store.( I put this because this would be the topic that people will have interest)
[AMA] I work at 7Eleven I was there when they underpaid their employee and left but I am back working for 7Eleven now

Thank you mate
how much you get paid now? before as well
General retail industry award 2010 plus casual rate so it's almost 26 per hour. I got $16 per hour and $20 allowance to spend money on food every shift I worked
Are you happy doing what you do?
I like doing customer service jobs. I see different things from different people and I can learn new things so I am pretty happy and good money so it's plus for me
Great AMA, thanks OP.
is this similar to going out with a girl and she sleeps with all your mates, steals your drugs and cash, you break up with her for obvious reasons but end up back with her a few months later?
Pretty similar. But remember I end up with money and pretty good casual job
What's your giftcard purchase policy? The attendant refused to take Perfect giftcard(EFTPOS card) as a valid payment method. Can they do that?
Yes. As long as he didn't refuse to serve you because you're black or anything like that.
The attendant was being a (profanity). I don't mind however you pay as long as it approved. I would try multiple ways to accept gift cards however manual typing card digits is not acceptable. I would only do that if I believe the person is not genuine
Great responses, thanks for the AMA. All the best wishes to owning your own store soon!
