Cheapest price on static ice is $179 and RRP is $229. Office Works price-matched for me, as there is a Wow S&S store here in Canberra. Not sure if they'll do it for a web-only offer. This was the cheapest P&S camera I could find that takes 720p video in MPEG-4 format (most other cameras use MJPEG). Panorama mode is brilliant - works as if your shooting a movie, just sweep the camera across the scene. First post so be gentle :-)

    Is this a good camera? I like the 26mm wide angle lens feature.

      I've been very happy with this camera, considering the price. And yes the 26mm wide angle is really handy for indoor shots and landscapes. PQ is mostly very good but it does occasionally take an out of focus shot and also has a slight tendency to over expose some shots as well. Video quality is mostly "good" at 720p fine mode (not brilliant). You can zoom when shooting video but the mic picks up a faint whirring noise and focus sometimes takes a while to catch up. Zoom is a touch too fast in video mode as well. The advantage of MPEG-4 format is smaller files compared to M-JPEG and the videos are compatible with my Apple TV.
