Hmmm wondering whether to get this or wait until the Vis-a-vis backpack goes on sale.
Apparently there is a design defect where because you put the laptop in the side pocket if you accidentally leave it open the laptop may fall out. The Vis-a-vis backpack loads from the top avoiding this.
Looks similar to dry red no 5. Including the laptop sideways zip. Mine never dropped out before
I also have the Dry Red No.5; I have had my MBP 15" in before and forgot to zip but yet hasn't fallen out before. But then again, I have a lot of crap in my bag so that might be holding it in LOL
I'm a bit of a klutz and have had my 13' MacBook Pro fall out of the side pocket on my Dry Red no 5 that I'd left open. Only made that mistake once though
i like nearly everything about this backpack….except the zipper pulls. how am i supposed to get a decent padlock through them?
I don't get people complaining that stuff falls out of the dry red bag if you don't zip it up. I have the beer back, if you don't zip it up the whole bag opens 180 degrees. So… Zip up your bag?

I assume that they mean to but forget, therefore they want a bag that won't cause issues if they forget. If you always remember, lucky you.
