  • Just wondering will they fit any car?

    • +1

      Car stereos are universal and fit any car, you need to check if your car needs a DIN or double DIN size, there are also adapters.
      And regarding the electrical and audio connection you will need an installation by someone who knows at least the basics.

      • +10

        Nonsense, my good man. You must be thinking of the 20th century designs.

        • -8

          Firstly I'm not your man, secondly you made 2 comments without giving any useful information.
          Hid anyways.

          @dealhunt:
          Put simply, your comment about this fitting in any car is absolutely false.

        • -1

          @kahn:

          Name one car it doesn't fit in.

          @dosada:
          McLaren 650S.

        • +1

          I think they fit all cars which look like they fit a replaceable car stereo… appreciate that's a bit circular. They wouldn't fit in my car but that is clear from looking at the centre console.

        • +1

          @kahn: thats a burn

        • +2

          @dosada: heaps of cars on the market these days with integrated a/c / stereos. Good luck finding a din adapter for one of those

        • @dealhunt: Ya boy? :'(

        • +1

          @kahn:

          Damn… Going to get a refund on my McLaren….. Both of them

        • @Diji1: Trolling?

      • +2

        Have to agree with kahn, my good fellow!

        Sure, you can MacGyver just about anything into a car, but many cars no longer take a standard head unit like this, be it single or double DIN.

        So many later model cars have everything going through a custom screen and audio setup. The Falcon/Territory is a prime example, and as I own a Territory, it really peaves me off that the supplied system is such a mongrel to upgrade.

        Back to the 20th century indeed!!

        • Just add a unit like this one in the empty compartments, with the falcon you can install near the coin area or whatever it is.

        • @tee123:
          Sure, you can do that, but it doesn't look good, and the sound quality doesn't improve unless you bypass the internal speaker wiring, and wire the speakers up to the unit, removing features like reversing alarm.

      • My main concern is not the size, I mean the plug that connect to the car audio.

        Like old Toyota?

        • Pre-wired adaptor cable should be available on eBay etc. Toyota to ISO, and ISO to Pioneer.

    • +1

      Note, that this unit doesn't have wired remote input. If you have buttons on the steering wheel to control volume etc, they will not work.

    AOA2.0

    Sounds like something an Italian mobster made up.

  • Looks like only 3 stores nationwide have stock. 2 in Newcastle region, 1 in Perth

    • Ahhhh i should have save some hooker money for this

    • Perth one's gone already.

  • This is available only in few stores in the whole nation. Should be edited that in title, or expire it for insufficient quantity.

    • Few stores in Newie showing stock.

  • explains why my music player hasn’t been stolen in years …..at these prices it’s not worth getting up in the middle of the night to break into my car, or to deal with the low ballers when when you try to sell it on gumtree.

  • Not much available nearby.

  • I saw JB in store is clearing out car audio, 50% off clearance items.

  • Deal expired, price back up to $136
