Was looking for an iPad mini 4 and found this deal. Pretty decent price for an Aussie stock. Not too many stocks in store, but I think online Click & Collect is available though. I actually purchased mine at Chirnside Park.

Actually my Mini 4 runs better with iOS 12 than it did on iOS 11. A lot of older hardware has shown performance improvements with the upcoming OS. I'm glad because I love the iPad mini form factor.
Yes, I wish Apple would refresh this product. It has been for 3 years. But still a solid 8 inch tablet for video streaming, surfing, reading and some games. iOS 12 is a big performance boost. Just can't believe nowadays everyone is using mobile phone at almost 200 grams.
iOS 12 has done a lot of speed updates in the code - should be snappier than iOS 11.
Got an iPad mini 4 a couple of years ago, it's still great, and I prefer the smaller size to full size iPads.

I went from a Mini 2 to a 9.7" Pro. Sure the Pro is faster, but I prefer the Mini size. I found having the storage near full made it (the mini which had 16 or 32Gb) slow.
I am using ipad mini 3 (not 4) which is SLOW!!! mini 4 shouldnt be much faster. however, i really like its size and will keep it mainly as an ereader.
The Mini 4 doubles the amount of RAM from 1 to 2GB which makes a massive difference (the 3 would be constantly hitting the 1GB limit, making it feel very slow).

No deal. Got rid of my mini 4 cellular 2 years ago and haven't looked back.
What did you replace it with? Samsung Tab S3
I only used it with my Phantom drone but then last year I purchased the 2017 iPad :)

Still can't understand why anyone would buy an ipad that didn't have cellular capability.
Because they can just hotspot off their mobile without incurring the cost of a extra plan. Not hard to understand.
I have a "cellular" model even though I don't have a plan for it. I got it because it has a GPS in it (which the other model doesn't).
Still can't imagine people taking iPad for a run just because it had GPS 😇

watch netflix and youtube videos at home, watch it in the toilet and such.

To have a bigger screen experience, use the pencil/stylus etc
iPad Mini is fantastic for traveling overseas. View maps, Word and Excel documents etc etc.
Also goes with me in my car for local maps.
iPad Pro etc are too big. iPad was always too big to take places. So glad the Mini came along.

They had been sold out as most of you probably know however I checked the OW site this morning and it was available for order again.
I just purchased one. :)
It may be the last iPad Mini that Apple will sell, unless they release something like an iPad Mini Pro with edge to edge display.

Seems to be still available. Purchased one this morning and order is confirmed for Click and Collect on Monday. Also rang them to confirm, and yes, it is in the warehouse, will be in store Monday to collect. Checked a few minutes later - out of stock, and then this afternoon, Space Gray was available again to order online.
