I didn't realise that when I bought the very UK68 model torch, which I received a few days ago.

But batteries and the chargers for them are very cheap on eBay.I paid $5.95 for a charger for a single battery and $2.78 for one 14500 battery. Although very cheap it would seem that both of these are of decent quality.
