I am moving to NBN and looking to buy a cheap NBN compatible wi-fi modem. It is enabled for Fibre to the premises (FTTP) technology. We will be using 3-4 devices on the wi-fi. Thanks!

Aggressive modems make users write aggressive comments. :(
With FTTP, you don't need a modem. Just a router with wifi, I reckon a Netgear R7000 would be sufficient.
Define cheap?
Riczter defined it for you. Check below. Thanks, Riczter.

I just cleaned out my junk and came across 4 Telstra modems. Brand new in box. Gave 2 away but have 2 left.
They are the Telstra Gateway Max 2.
Sign up to Aussie Broadband. Get the modem for cheap.
TPG gives modem for free with just 6 months of contract if you talk to them. Aussie Broadband is probably one of the most expensive players out there.
Yes but you just need to be with them for 1 month. No contract
What's wrong with aggressive modems?
