This German Pilsner represents great value for money. Oettinger is easy drinking and with the zing of the saaz hops it is quite refreshing.

Now they're $46/slab
ouch, when did it go up so much? I used to buy them when they were $13/6pack and I believe they were also 4.9%
@Op, they're $16.49/6pack in Vic….you're in NSW maybe?
I'm in Vic and saw the $29/2 six pack price last night, you might need to be logged in if it's a member's offer, but as per below, buy a slab not 2 six packs.
Oh yeah I get that too.
I should have been clearer, What I was referring too is
Original Price Was $17.49 per pack of 6
it's $16.49/6pack in Vic/Qld
it's $17.49/6pack in NSW
It's usually about $45 per slab of 24 cans … 12 for $29 is not worthy of bargain status.
However, 24 x 330ml bottles for $29.95 is a better deal anyway:
https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_914086/oettinger-pi…it is only 330 mil not the 500 mil though. almost same price per mil but close to be out of date if you compare the case price.
Great beer if you like falling asleep after 3 of them.
I used to drink it when 24 x 500 ml slab was less than $39.
Not a very tasty beer. I don't think many people chose it for the flavour.
I agree… the words cats p!$$ comes comes to mind.
I use it to make pizza dough, or for the father in law.
Just a quick comment on the quality of this beer. This sells for around 7EUR (11AUD) for a slab of 24 in Germany and you get about 3EUR back when you return the crate plus a few cents for each bottle you return. Overall costs about 3EUR (5AUD) for 24.
Surely no good beer can ever be sold at that price (i can confirm from experience this is not a tasty beer).
I'm sure you are exaggerating. A quick check on a European online beer site shows the price "by the case" of £38.60. not even as good as Dan Murphy's. The best actually isn't bad. Just standard stuff.
I'm old enough and ugly enough to admit this is my go-to beer (when I cannot afford Murphy's Irish Stout)!
It's a LOT better than some of the other 'popular beers' on the market that are tasteless. A great tasting, flavoursome Pilsner.
Not really a deal when a slab of 24 is always around $45 .
