  • october shouldn't be too bad, but jun, might suck, hong kong gets so humid in the summer

    • Oct - Nov/18 is the best time

    • That's the best time to go.

It's like 36-40 degrees every day, humidity is like over 80% (which sucks), less people and Stanley market and beach is gorgeous this time around.

      • What is the best time?

        • Summer (so now)

A lot of asians around the world hate summer so they flock to HK in the winter time only.

    • Its the northern hemisphere to Jan is winter in HK and the coldest time of the year…

  • great price to honkers

    No love for Perth?

      Wait Awile :D

    • I booked perth hk 2 way April 19-25
Easter labourday week $478 ( Skyscanner price matched at flight centre) but itโ€™s Malaysia airlines ๐Ÿ™ˆ

  • Sorry but not sure there is a sale. I have been looking to book flights in the last month in Oct to HK and the prices are exactly the same as they have been in the last month. They might be having a sale on some flights, but please be aware not all flights are on sale (OR this sale has already been running for a month).

  • Is there a way to sign up to alerts for a certain route for a certain date and receive new pricing daily? I signed up to the IWTF and Skyscanner alerts but I don't seem to get emails that often. Only if there's a signifigate drop/raise in price.

You can use Google flights to track a particular flight on a particular day. You will receive daily emails only if the price changes - if no movement then you won't receive a notification. Try that out?

      • Thanks I'll sign up! Cheers

  • I have 1 hr 15 mins transit in Sydney for Qantas domestic to international flight.

Never transited in Sydney, what's it like? As long as plane is on time should it be comfortable enough transit?

    • That's gonna be awful, you need to transfer between terminals and pass security and all that. I'd personally want to have 3 hours to play it safe.

      • Ok thanks, lucky I didn't book it yet. Funny thing is you can book with this very connection direct via Qantas website.
