We now live in a more dynamic and connected world than ever before. Transparency, equality, respect and inclusion are significant issues. We have an ethical responsibility to move education beyond critical thinking towards developing a critical and respectful dialogue. Given this, critical thinking is an indispensable life and workforce skill.
Respectful conversation is a collaborative process to engage in respectful and sometimes, difficult conversations. Respectful conversations are learned in the community and serve the community, aiming to unite people from all walks of life, diverse backgrounds and viewpoints around difficult, yet shared, issues and problems.
Elizabeth Griffin asks: how do we ensure we can respectfully share our different views and perspectives while collectively evolving together?
This is an in-person presentation, followed by Q&A, at our Sydney Campus, 55 Elizabeth Street, Sydney. It is open to all members of the public. Limited places are available. Registration is required and is on a first-come, first-served basis until maximum capacity has been met.
